Time is such a wild concept. I looked back on the year, through photos. Some of these events seemed like they happened just a short time ago, some feel forever ago. I can’t believe how much my kids have grown in just a year. And then I look back and see how much we do in a a month and we really pack in the fun!
Take a look back at 2024 with me.

January: We started off the year with some time on the slopes. Brundage in McCall, Idaho is one of our favorite places to ski and snowboard. Nella’s hair was long enough for pigtails for the first time, she later grew quite the mullet that we gave a little trim. A homeschool trip the aquarium and the release of the Love Day collection for Iviana & Co.

February: This month brought a few firsts. Emelia’s first competition & Eliana’s first temple trip. We through an epic family surprise party for my dad’s birthday, which brought the whole family to Idaho for the first time in a couple years. It was the best surprise ever! Our dear employee Jenna left to serve her mission. We miss her so much, but are so proud of her! We are members of https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/?lang=eng

March: Looking back on March is making me a bit tired! It was such a good month though. It started off with remembering my Mom. It would have been her 61st birthday. We took a family trip to revisit my childhood hometown. I’ll link my post to the trip here! It was such a healing trip for me. We took another trip to the mountain to ski & celebrated Easter with family. I also launched our Spring Collection & my first open house since 2018!

April: The pinewood derby car race is always a good way to kick off the month! I decided it was time to get back into baking bread (on occasion). Of course there was another season of football, which lead us to games in Twin Falls. We took the travel opportunity to see some beautiful sights in the Magic Valley. We ended the month with a dance recital to close out the dance season.

May: This is when we received an opportunity to start our first short term rental! It was an unexpected opportunity. We are glad we took the risk, we have learned so much and it is going well. We switched the sports from football for baseball. I began the prep for southwest summer collection, & finished the school year with the kids. We enjoyed the first summer weather, a hike to succor creek, & Nella & I closed our chapter on nursing.

June: June felt like a breath of fresh air. The boys finished baseball, the kids and I started the garden, we enjoyed time at the river and the pool soaking up the summer sun. I launched southwest summer collection, & Eliana enjoyed her first time at girls camp.

July: We started July with celebrating Emelia & her decision to be baptized. We enjoyed a trip to Wallace, ID and the amazing experience of biking the Hiawatha Trail. July kicked off Chris’ obsession with Tesla’s. Throughly enjoyed fixing this one, and has since sold it and bought & fixed another one that fits the family. We also enjoyed a trip to Zoo Boise.

August: Knowing summer was coming to an end, we made sure to visit one of our favorite places for paddle boarding, McCall, Idaho. We spent time with friends and just soaked up the rest of summer, including a day camping trip up to Mann Creek. I started recording episodes for my podcast. Chris & I celebrated 15 years of marriage!

Sept: We started a new school year, and of course football & dance started up again. We love watching the kids excel and learn new things. I saw videos of my mom for the first time since her passing, it was the best gift. We managed to soak up another pool day before the weather turned, & enjoyed harvest from the garden. I officially launched my podcast, Home(school) with Steph. Chris and I drove up to Kelowna, B.C. Canada to attend a business retreat with my business coach and other fellow Jewelry Business Academy members. And the biggest news to bookend the month of September, Chris quit his 9-5!

Oct.: Iviana & Co. had its first event! I co-hosted a girls night and it was so fun! I also did another vendor event. 2 in one month! Iviana & Co. also celebrated 8 years as a company. We enjoyed a field trip to Baker City to the Oregon Trail Museum. We finished out a beautiful month hiking Table Rock in Boise and going to the pumpkin patch.

Nov.: I launched the final collection of the year, our Holiday collection. The kids enjoyed the first snowfall of winter, & I took the girls to their first ballet. I could not believe how much Nella sat and enjoyed it! We enjoyed Thanksgiving, getting to spend time with both sides of our families.

Dec: Of course December brings all the Christmas festivities. And we enjoyed them all. From lights, to decorating, to dance recitals, Christmas choir concerts, baking cookies and Christmas shopping. We made our first trip to the mountain for skiing, & boys attended their first BSU basketball game!
Overall it was a year of walking in faith, growth, learning and trusting in God’s plan for us. That is probably another post for another day. In so many ways it was a beautiful year with much to be grateful for. Now here’s to 2025!
