Hi friends! It has been a minute since I have taken the time to write a “life lately” post…or any post at all for that matter. May brought an unexpected business opportunity for Chris and I. We took the risk, and it has taken some time to get going. So what is it?! Well…we need just a little more time before we share it. I know that is absolutely annoying. My apologies. Theres just enough risk in business we like to make sure we have all our ducks in a row before we share what we are up to. It has taken time, effort, and of course money, but we will be ready to share soon! It did involve a little furniture flipping though. Here’s a nightstand I fixed up.

So let’s move on to what I can share! A cooler May gave us another opportunity to visit Succor Creek at the Owyhees again. As we loaded up our hiking gear, Ivan snuck a hammer and crow bar into Chris’ backpack, which is also the baby carrier. From their previous trip out there, Ivan recalled that he wished he’d had some digging tools. A ways into the hike Ivan asked Chris to stop so he could get his tools. Chris was wondering why his pack was so heavy! We went with extended family, packed lunches and had a great time. If you are thinking about visiting Succor creek, its a great place to hike and rock hound! However, spring and fall are when you will want to visit. There is no shade and you would not want to be out there in the heat of the summer.

We celebrated the big 10 for Ivan! He chose to celebrate at Urban Air in Boise. We had never been before and the kids had an absolute blast! I think it was worth the value that we paid per kid. There were so many activities to do and it really catered to all ages. We had a really fun time together.

One of my biggest accomplishments this last month was getting our garden planted! Thanks to my brother for coming over to help me expand the garden and till the ground, I was able to make this happen. Then the kids and I went to Home Depot and picked out what we would plant. Isaac is the most excited for the watermelon we planted. Although he’s slightly disappointed with the time its taking to grow.

Our evenings have been spent at the ball field. Both boys have been playing baseball. Isaac playing his last game last week. Ivan finishes up this week. I genuinely love watching their games. Summer nights at the ball field is one of my favorite things.

As for Iviana & Co., we had our photo shoot & launch for the Southwest Summer Collection! This collection brought me so much joy to create. From the trip that inspired the collection, to the creation of it & sharing it with you. It all has been so much fun. I am so grateful for the response the the collection and feel so blessed to have this community that loves my work so much.
