Succor Creek & Iviana & Co. Pop Up

When was the last time you stepped out of your comfort zone? Personally, I probably don’t step out of mine often enough. A few weekends ago, I held a pop up shop and it had me a little bit out of my comfort zone.

It has been 7 years since I did a pop up shop at my house! Which is where I hosted this one. It has also been nearly 3 years since I did my last pop up shop, which didn’t go very well. I think that’s why I was feeling a little nervous.

The pop up was to launch the Spring Collection at Iviana &Co. and it went so well! I am so thankful for everyone who came out and celebrated with me and those who showed up online to support me as well.

My girl stayed with me and helped me so much at the pop up shop. It is so fun to be able to work along side her and see her grow up.

What did I do with the rest of the family for the day? Chris ventured out to Succor Creek- Owyhee Canyonlands. We have some kiddos who are obsessed with rocks. You may relate to that. He took them out to rock hound for the first time. They had so much fun and it was definitely a success! Succor Creek is a great Springtime destination for outdoor adventure.

The kids found thunder eggs, and more rocks than I know names for. And not just big pieces of gravel. Real mineral rocks that are so cool!! Chris came home and cut them with the tile saw so we could see the inside…true rock hound techniques I’m sure. They hiked and saw waterfalls. The terrain was rough, Chris suggested a four wheel drive vehicle for the road he was on. And there is no shade, so you want to be mindful of the temperature and be sure to pack your own water. It is a remote canyon land, but so neat and fun to explore!
