There are always details in our life that mark a season. For our family, one detail of summer are strawberries ! 🍓
Since my parents moved into their house, 23 years ago, my dad has cultivated a thriving strawberry patch. While mine is nowhere near the size of his, it’s producing a pretty good crop this year!
With some extra strawberries in the fridge, I whipped up this Strawberry Cheesecake Milkshake for a treat.
Recipe:
1 quart vanilla ice cream
1 cup heavy cream or milk
1/2 cube (4oz) cream cheese
4 graham crackers
2 cups strawberries
Add all the ingredients to the blender, blend, and enjoy!
To add the graham crackers garnish: crush 2-3 graham crackers in a Ziploc bag. Roll over them with the rolling pin until they are crushed.
